partake in the making of an all in-house plane for the annual
XtraChallenge Competition.

ECLift is Centrale Lyon’s student aeronautics club. We design, build, and fly aircraft for the XtraChallenge, giving members hands-on exposure across design, manufacturing, and flight testing.
Experienced
Our team is driven by passionate and experienced individuals, ranging from master's students in aeronautics to engineering students at Centrale Lyon selected based on experience and motivation. Knowledge and expertise from past successes, such as the XtraChallenge 2024, are actively shared with new members, ensuring the continuity of our achievements.
Oganized
We work with a clear structure, divided into specialized departments: Marketing, Propulsion and Avionics, Structure and Manufacturing, and Aerodynamics. This professional approach allows us to effectively manage our complex projects and deliver high-quality results.
